"STRATEGIES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GREEN ENERGY, AT LOCAL AND REGIONAL LEVELS, IN ORDER TO PREVENT CLIMATE CHANGE”

On the 9^th of October 2009, the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency Ploiesti - Prahova together with the Prahova County Council organized a seminar on " Strategies For The Implementation Of Green Energy, At Local And Regional Levels, In Order To Prevent Climate Changes", the seminar was part of the european manifestations: “Open Days 2009”. 

On the agenda there were the following topics: 
 

• Actions and strategies to promote energy efficiency and alternative energy sources at a local and regional  level- Mr. Bogdan Potlogia - Executive Director of the  Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency Ploiesti - Prahova and Mrs. Iustina Capatina - Energy Expert at the  Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency Ploiesti – Prahova;
• MORE4NRG Project - Interregional Cooperation Operational Program INTERREG IVC - Mrs Ioana Chivu- Advisor at the European Integration Department - Prahova County Council;
• Using solar energy to produce domestic hot water - projects of the Prahova County Council with funding from the Environment Fund- Mrs. Georgica Busuioc, Adviser at the European Integration Department- Prahova County Council;
• INTER PARES project - the Competitiveness and Innovation Program- Intelligent Energy in Europe - Mrs. Catalina Radulescu, Adviser at the European Integration Department- Prahova County Council;
• DALKIA TERMO PRAHOVA SRL – Model of energy efficiency and of the use of renewable energy - Mrs Ioana Iliescu – Commercial Director;
• GNSC CONSULTING – Thermic evaluation procedure for issuing the Energy Certificate - Mr. Sorin Ghita.

Among the participants there were:

• Representatives of local authorities of the Prahova county;
• Teachers and students from " Mihai Viteazu” National College;
• Teachers and students from  "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" National College;
• Teachers and students from  "Energetic Highschool Ploiesti”.

The event aimed to promote, develop and implement renewable energy sources by sharing the best practices between European regions that develop sustainable energy policies.
 
The seminar proved to be a good opportunity for the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency Ploiesti-Prahova to expose it’s purpose and objectives, and actions in which it’s involved at 6 months of existence.

Also, the Prahova County Council presented a part of projects in which it’s involved, projects at  national and european levels, and Dalkia Termo Prahova S.R.L. - The concept of energy efficiency in Europe in Dalkia’ s point of view.

GNSC Consulting  got the attention through the Thermic evaluation procedure for issuing the Energy Certificate, during which the stages prior to the issue of this certificate were described, namely: the building's energy expertise, the thermographic evaluation of the building, the building’s energy audit, establish the real energy balance and the issuance of the building’s Energy Certificate.

Given the existing concerns at the european level to combat climate change, the seminar has managed to focus on developing local and regional strategies which come to complete the european programs launched in this direction.
